About Glenda Procter...
“Glenda is a social butterfly, her passion, love and
energy helped make our special day simply perfect” Mr Mrs R.
MY job is to celebrate LOVE.
The work me, just loves the opportunity to do things differently, break the boundaries and create new, exciting and romantic ways to celebrate love between two people. All my experiences in life have led me to be where I am today. My past professional skills as a teacher, British Airway’s stewardess, coach and business owner have given me the life skills to support me, in giving you a ceremony that will be truly memorable.I am motivated by love and romance and am really a big softy at heart!
The social me is fun loving and happy. I look on myself as being contented and having no regrets.I live life to the full and thrive on being busy and doing things. I always look on the bright side of life, despite having had my fair share of problems! I have a sense of humour which keeps me positive and at times gets me into trouble! I am comfortable in the public eye and never happier than when I am around people.I strive under pressure and love to take on a challenges.
I am happily married and have been with my husband for over 40 years. We have two adult children. I have even been lucky enough to be the mother of the bride! My husband propose to me over the telephone and we married in a church. We both had ‘going away outfits’ and left the receptions long before guests! How times have changed-thank goodness!
I am at heart a country girl. All my life we have owned houses in the countryside and had dogs and horses and yard cats at our stables. I am an accomplished horse rider and have coached and still assess Riding and Road Safety for The British Horse Society. I love the countryside and enjoy long walks, especially on the beach close to home.
The most valuable experiences gained were my years working as a seasonal Marriage Registrar, conducting marriages in a wide variety of venues and locations. It brought home to me two things.
Firstly how inadequately prepared many couples are prior to exchanging their most intimate vows.
Secondly the lack of choice couples have in a standard registration service marriage. The same is true for clergy led marriage in churches up and down the land.
Couples have the right to create ceremonies that fulfil their beliefs, lifestyle and social backgrounds – and I will do my utmost, using all my experience to make your dreams come true. I will always do my very best for you as a couple and will make your ceremony the finest it can be. Because every couple deserves to feel on Cloud 9.
New ventures.I am now using all my experience and knowledge to develop overseas Weddings Ceremonies for couples at Destination venues.
Working as your celebrant or ceremony officiant.
Your ceremony should be about YOU; your love, your family, your friends, your day.
YOUR dreams,YOUR desires.
Deciding on a Celebrant for your special ceremony is not easy – you want everything to be perfect- and I can promise you a ceremony which will meet your highest expectations. Love is the driving force behind my work and why I love what I do. Your wishes will be respected as I guide and advise you in creating a perfect ceremony.
Let me create a day full of lasting memories, not for the brides dress, father’s speech or the party but the lasting memory of a sincere and beautiful ceremony of celebration. Delivered eloquently, warmly and with the right amount of solemnity and humour.
I strive to create ceremonies that go beyond your wildest dreams. Not only fulfilling their dreams but taking them to cloud9 with me.
“Love is what motivates me. I love what I do and do what I love.”
There are a number of different ceremonies and symbolic rituals that I would be delighted to get involved with, to help make your ceremony truly special for you both, and your friends and family.
