I’m sure you have questions about the booking process – here are some answers that I hope will be useful.

BOOKING

ARE YOU STILL UNDECIDED ABOUT BOOKING ME?

Do not take my word for it. Read the many testimonials sent to me by satisfied couples and determine the level and quality of service and ceremony I provide. Then call me and lets speak about your requirements before you made a decision.

WHEN DO WE NEED TO BOOK YOU AS OUR INDEPENDENT CELEBRANT?

It is never too early to book me as your celebrant. I would advise you to book as soon as you have made up your mind. An early booking will secure the date in my diary and save disappointment! As a bonus point, this will save you money too, as my prices generally increase each year. 

DO YOU EVER ACCEPT BOOKINGS AT SHORT NOTICE?

YES. The booking process is a little different however. By all means reach out and ask the question. You may be delighted to learn that I am available. Late bookings obviously require speedy planning and time spent to create your ceremony to meet all your requirements. 

THERE ARE LOTS OF EXCELLENT CELEBRANTS OUT THERE… WHY SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?

Why not! I plan on not just meeting your expectations, but exceeding them! You’re right –Choosing someone to officiate your ceremony should be about trust and connection. I would say you have nothing to loose. 

WE LOVE ALL THAT YOU OFFER, BUT CANNOT AFFORD YOUR FEES. IS THERE ANY WAY YOU COULD HELP US DO SO?

The quality and standard of my service and the ceremonies I provide warrants the fees I charge, so it is unlikely I would be able to offer a discount. If I am out of your budget then I am not for you sadly…

However, there are always extenuating circumstances to life’s key milestones and I would not want to see a couple’s genuine love and dreams be shattered due to not considering any proposal to support them. Ask me… I may be able to help you keep your ceremony as affordable as possible, by offering a structured payment plan.

WILL WE BE ABLE TO CONTACT YOU IF WE HAVE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS OR NEED MORE INFORMATION?

Absolutely! My fee includes unlimited phone and e-mail support.

WE DON’T HAVE A VENUE FOR OUR WEDDING YET, WILL YOU HELP US FIND ONE?

Of course if I am able to. I am familiar with many venues, particularly venues in and around my home town of Rye, East Sussex. Just let me know the type of venue you would like, and your approximate budget, and I’ll offer a few suggestions.

 

IS THERE ANY PLACE YOU WON’T PERFORM A WEDDING?

Well, if there is, I have not found it yet! I have done ceremonies indoors and outdoors, on the beach, in private houses and gardens, in hotels, castles, restaurants, banquet halls. I have also been involved in a ceremony in a crematorium. As long as I can get there safely, I will go wherever you plan your ceremony to be.

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

Wedding and Handfasting Ceremony Prices

  • My prices depend on varying factors.
  • The destination and venue along with the season.
  • Whether you have a Wedding Planner or not.
  • The specific date is important. The main factor will be the number of hours I will be required to be present, prior to or after the ceremony.
  • My quotes typically range from £750 up to £1,500. Raising to £5,000 for luxury destination weddings involving Wedding Planners.

 

I suggest you get in touch and send me some of the details of your ceremony plans. We can schedule a non-obligatory call and I will then be in a better position to give you a fair quote based on what you require.

My fees vary depending on ceremony type and location.

My fees start at  £750 for local ceremonies. 

                           £950 for a basic Traditional Wedding or Handfasting.

                           £1,500- £5,000  for Luxury Ceremonies or Handfasting

 

A DEPOSIT OF £250 IS REQUIRED UPON CONFIRMATION OF YOUR BOOKING

CAN WE HAVE A CONSULTATION WITH YOU PRIOR TO BOOKING?

Yes most definitely. I give a non-obligatory consultation over the phone for no free. I would be delighted to meet you locally for an informal chat and consultation for free, as I feel once we meet, you will have no doubts at all about using my services!

HOW MUCH IS THE BOOKING FEE?
  • A £250 non refundable booking fee is payable to secure your ceremony date, and my services in the U.K.
  • A higher fee is required for overseas bookings.
  • I will send a receipt of payment of your booking fee.  
HOW IS FINAL PAYMENT MADE?
  • Payments can be made by BACs or IBAN direct payment or Paypal or Cash by agreement. Please note that however you pay it must be received one month prior to your ceremony. A receipt will be sent following payment. No payment, no ceremony or script!

WHAT DO WE RECEIVE ONCE A BOOKING FEE IS MADE?
  • You will receive via email, confirmation of your booking, along with a receipt of payment and cancellation notification form.
  • Full terms and conditions will be sent to you along with your booking form.
  • You will also need to sign a ‘permission to start work’ form.
